Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (TRAILBLAZER EXT & ENVOY XL)  .
  2. Remove the trim panel from the seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (TRAILBLAZER EXT & ENVOY XL)  .
  3. Remove the rear center seat belt buckle assembly from the floor latch assembly. Refer to SEAT BELT SYSTEM or SEAT BELT SYSTEM in Seat Belts.

  5. Remove the cable (3) from the mid-position floor latch assembly (2).
  6. Remove the bolts (1) securing the mid-position floor latch assembly to the seat cushion frame.
  7. Remove the mid-position floor latch assembly.
