Installation Procedure

- Install the sunroof sunshade panel to the sunroof module assembly. Refer to SUNROOF SUNSHADE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
- Install the sunroof window to the sunroof module assembly. Refer to SUNROOF WINDOW REPLACEMENT .
- Install the sunroof control module to the sunroof module assembly. Refer to SUNROOF CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT .
- Install the sunroof motor/actuator to the sunroof module assembly. Refer to SUNROOF MOTOR/ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT .
- Position the sunroof module assembly to the vehicle with an assistant.NOTE: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the bolts that retain the sunroof module assembly to the roof panel.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (7 lb ft).
- Connect the drain hoses to the sunroof module assembly. Refer to the following procedures:
- Connect the sunroof harness electrical connector.
- Install the headliner. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM or INTERIOR TRIM in Interior Trim.
