Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the headliner. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM  or INTERIOR TRIM  in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the inline connector from the sunroof electrical harness.
  3. With an assistant, remove the sunroof module assembly from the vehicle and place on a clean, prepared surface. Refer to SUNROOF MODULE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT   . 
  4. Remove the sunroof motor/actuator. Refer to SUNROOF MOTOR/ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT   . 
  5. Remove the screw that retains the sunroof control module to the mounting bracket.

  7. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the sunroof control module.
  8. Remove the sunroof control module from the mounting bracket.
