Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy XL, 2003 GMC Envoy, and 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR   . 
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR   . 
  3. Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER   . 
  4. Remove the window regulator. Refer to WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR (TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY, BRAVADA)   or  WINDOW REGULATOR REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR (TRAILBLAZER EXT, ENVOY XL)   . 
  5. Carefully lower the window (3) down into the door.

  7. Remove the window weatherstrip run channel assembly. Refer to WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP RUN CHANNEL ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - REAR (TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY, BRAVADA)   or WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP RUN CHANNEL ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - REAR (TRAILBLAZER EXT, ENVOY XL)   . 
  8. Remove the window out though the top of the door.
