Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy XL, 2003 GMC Envoy, and 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the fascia to the vehicle impact bar.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the upper retaining bolts to the fascia.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  3. Install the screws that retain the fascia to the wheelhouse flanges.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install and fully seat the lower push-pins.
  5. Install the backup lamp socket assemblies. Refer to BACKUP LAMP REPLACEMENT (GMC)  in Lighting Systems.
