Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy XL, 2003 GMC Envoy, and 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the insulator panel to the I/P.
  2. Install the hazard and turn signal flasher to the insulator panel. Refer to HAZARD AND TURN SIGNAL FLASHER REPLACEMENT  in Lighting Systems.
  3. Install the splice pack to the insulator panel.
  4. Position the DLC to the insulator panel.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the DLC retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the DLC retaining screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  6. Install the insulator panel tabs to the cowl slots.

  7. Raise the insulator panel to the I/P.
  8. Install the insulator panel retaining clip to the I/P substrate.
  9. Install the 2 screws that retain the insulator panel to the I/P.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
