Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER  in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    IMPORTANT: Ensure that the speaker electrical connector does not fall into the speaker opening.
  2. Remove the 3 screws that retain the speaker to the instrument panel (IP) substrate.
  3. Disconnect the speaker electrical connector.
  4. Remove the speaker from the IP.
