Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET)  or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (OLDSMOBILE)  in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper washer switch.
  3. Release the wiper washer switch locking tabs.
  4. Remove the switch from the trim plate.
