Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the 2 screws that retain the insulator panel to the instrument panel (IP).

  2. Release the insulator panel retaining clip from the IP substrate.
  3. Lower the insulator panel.
  4. Remove the 2 data link connector (DLC) retaining screws.

  5. Remove the DLC from the insulator panel.
  6. Remove the courtesy lamp from the insulator panel. Refer to COURTESY LAMP REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL in Lighting Systems.
  7. Remove the splice pack from the insulator panel.
  8. Remove the hazard and turn signal flasher from the insulator panel. Refer to HAZARD AND TURN SIGNAL FLASHER REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
  9. Remove the insulator panel from the IP.
