Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear parking brake cable to the vehicle.
  2. Install the rear parking brake cable retainer nut.

  4. Connect the rear park brake cable to the rear suspension mounting bracket.
  5. Fig 2: Front & Rear Park Brake Cables To Equalizer & Retainer

  6. Connect the rear park brake cable to the retainer and equalizer.
  7. Install the RH muffler. Refer to Muffler Replacement - Right in Engine Exhaust.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Enable park brake automatic adjuster. Refer to Enabling the Park Brake Cable Automatic Adjuster .
