Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Release the transmission vent hose from the lower retaining clip.
  3. IMPORTANT: Observe the orientation of the transmission vent hose check valve prior to removal of the hose.
  4. Remove the transmission vent hose from the transmission vent tube.
