Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the brake booster vacuum hose to the intake manifold, if disconnected previously.
  2. Install the intake manifold, if removed previously. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement in Engine Mechanical.
  3. Fig 2: Identifying Vacuum Booster Hose

  4. Install the vacuum check valve to the brake booster, if removed previously.
  5. Connect the booster vacuum hose to the brake booster check valve.
