Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Knee Bolster in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  3. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor (1) and brake apply sensor (2).

  5. Remove the retainer, washer, brake booster pushrod, and brake pedal pin from the brake pedal.
  6. Reposition the isolation mat by cutting a small slit in the mat.

  8. Remove the brake pedal pivot bolt and nut.
  9. Remove the brake pedal from the mounting bracket.
