Installation Procedure

Position the striker and the shims to the lid with the arrow on the striker pointed downward.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the bolts attaching the striker, beginning with the driver side bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Inspect the operation of the compartment lid.
Close the compartment lid.
