Installation Procedure

  1. Install the #3 bow to the main control link bracket.
  2. Fig 1: #2, #3, #4 & #5 Bow To Main Control Link Bracket

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the #3 bow screws to the main control link bracket (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten roof bow to the main control link bracket screws to 13 N.m (10 lb ft).

  4. Fig 2: Staple Stay Pad To #2, #3, & #4 Bow

  5. Staple the stay pad to the #3 bow (3).
  6. Install the headliner screws to the #3 bow.

    Tighten:  Tighten the headliner screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Refer to Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement (Number 1 Bow)  or Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement (Number 2 Bow)  or Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement (Number 3 Bow)  or Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement (Number 4 Bow)  or Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement (Number 5 Bow) .
