Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wiper motor crank arm onto the wiper motor.
  2. Position the park latch 4 - 5 mm (0.16 - 0.20 in) from the park tab.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the wiper motor crank arm screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  6. Using the J 39529  , connect the wiper transmission to the wiper motor crank arm. See Special Tools and Equipment .
  7. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  8. Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
