Installation Procedure

  1. Position the filler panel over the wheelhouse panel and behind the fender wheel opening flange.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolts attaching the filler panel to the wheelhouse panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the filler panel to the wheelhouse bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the bolts attaching the fender wheel opening to the filler panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fender wheel opening to the filler panel bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the bolts attaching the filler panel to the frame rail bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the filler panel to the frame rail bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the filler panel to the lower fender flange bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the filler panel to the lower fender flange bolt to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  10. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
