Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Hood Stop Bracket To Hinge Pillar Bolts

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the hood stop bracket to the hinge pillar.
Tighten: Tighten the hood stop bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Install the hood stop (and the plenum bracket on the passenger side) to the hood stop bracket.
Tighten: Tighten the hood stop bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Install the hood bumper.
Tighten: Tighten the hood bumper jam nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the fender. Refer to Fender Replacement - Front .
