Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the plenum to hood seal.
  3. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washers Systems.

  5. Remove the push-in retainers from the engine edge of the screen.

    NOTE: Be sure to follow the service procedure when removing the air inlet grille panel. Failure to follow service procedure may cause damage to the air inlet grille panel or the windshield.
  7. Slide the screen down and out from under the edge of the windshield.
  8. Disconnect the washer hoses from the bottom side of the screen.
  9. Remove the air inlet screen.
