Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT:
The lock pillar weatherstrip must be installed before the door window weatherstrip and retainer to achieve a good seal.
- Apply continuous a 6 mm (0.25 in) high 100 mm (4 in) long bead of sealer (3) to the upper rear corner of the roof and lock pillar.
- Apply a 6 mm (0.25 in) high 100 mm (4 in) long bead of sealer (4) across the lower edge of the roof panel onto the lock pillar.
- Install the lock pillar upper reveal molding (2).
- Install the lock pillar weatherstrip retainer.
Tighten: Tighten the lock pillar weatherstrip retainer screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Apply a 6 mm (0.25 in) high 100 mm (4 in) long bead of sealer across the lower edge of the retainer onto the lock pillar.
- Install the door window weatherstrip retainer and weatherstrip.
