Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement .
  2. Fig 2: Rear Compartment Side Trim Panels

  3. Remove the trim panels from the front side of the rear compartment. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Front Side (Convertible)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Front Side (Hardtop)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Front Side (Coupe) .
  4. Support the headlining.

  6. Remove the retainer from the center of the rear edge of the headlining.

  8. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  9. Remove the sunshade bezels.
  10. Remove the sunshade supports.
  11. Remove the headlining.
