Removal Procedure

- Position the folding top with the #1 and #5 bow up.
- Remove the seal compression panel. Refer to Folding Top Seal Compression Panel Replacement .
- Using a pair of needle nose pliers, remove the top cover staples from the #1 bow.
- Using a pair of needle nose pliers, remove the headliner staples from the #1 bow.
- Pull the top cover back over the #3 bow.
- Remove the headliner side screws from the #1 bow.
- Using a pair of needle nose pliers, remove the headliner extension push-on retainers from the studs on the #1 bow.
- Remove the headliner retainer screws from the #2 bow.
- Position the top in a closed position with the folding top stowage lid open to gain access to the headliner attachments.
- Remove the retainer screws to the headliner elastic strap from the #5 bow.
- Remove the retainer screws to the headliner elastic strap from the rear side rail.
- Remove the headliner screws from the rear side rail.
- Position the #1 and #5 bow up to gain access to the #4 bow screws.
- Remove the support strap screws to the rear window from the number four bow.
- Remove the headliner retainer screws from the #4 bow.
- Remove the headliner retainer screws from the #3 bow.
- Remove the headliner.
