Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
  1. Position the carpet in the vehicle and around the rear compartment supports.
  2. Fig 2: Rear Compartment Side Trim Panels

  3. Install the rear compartment side trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Front Side (Convertible)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Front Side (Hardtop)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Compartment Front Side (Coupe) .

  5. Install the trim support panels to the rear compartment supports.

  7. Snap the cargo lamps into the carpet.
  8. Position the fuel door release cable through the carpet and secure the end tab of the cable with the hook and loop patch to the carpet.

  10. Install the rear floor center stowage cover.
