Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left fuel rail cover.
  2. Fig 2: Intake Manifold EVAP Pipe

  3. Disconnect the quick-connect fittings at the intake manifold and the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  4. Remove the EVAP pipe.
  5. Cap the intake manifold pipe and the EVAP canister purge valve in order to prevent possible contamination.
