Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cargo shelf.
  2. Tumble the third row seats to the cargo position.

  4. Remove the left body side window rear garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Window - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) .
  5. Remove the left body side window forward garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Window - Front (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) .
  6. Remove the liftgate sill plate. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT-Lift Gate .
  7. Remove the left rear door sill panel. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada)  or Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) ..
  8. Remove the lower seat belt anchor bolt.

  10. Remove the auxiliary power outlet from the trim panel. Refer to Cigar Lighter Housing or 12 Volt Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement .
  11. Release the five screws that retain the rear quarter trim panel to the body.

  13. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.
