Removal Procedure

Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
Remove the nuts that secure the converter pipe to the exhaust manifold.

Remove the nuts that secure the converter pipe to the muffler.

Slide the catalytic converter out of the exhaust insulators and out of the vehicle.
