Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (BODY VIN CODE 6)   or DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (BODY VIN CODE 3)   .
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  3. Reposition the inlet radiator hose clamp (3) using J 38185  .
  4. Remove the inlet radiator hose (2) from the radiator (1).

  5. Reposition the inlet radiator hose clamp (3) using J 38185  .
  6. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the engine (5).
  7. Remove the radiator inlet hose.
