Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (BODY VIN CODE 6) or DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (BODY VIN CODE 3) .
Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
Reposition the inlet radiator hose clamp (3) using J 38185 .
Remove the inlet radiator hose (2) from the radiator (1).

Reposition the inlet radiator hose clamp (3) using J 38185 .
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the engine (5).
Remove the radiator inlet hose.
