Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Remove the engine oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.

  3. Remove the engine protection shield mounting bolts.
  4. Remove the engine protection shield.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil level sensor.
  6. Remove the engine oil level sensor mounting bolt.
  7. Remove the engine oil level sensor.
