Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to TRANSMISSION .
  2. Remove the flywheel. Refer to ENGINE FLYWHEEL REPLACEMENT   .
    IMPORTANT: Do not damage the crankshaft or seal bore.
  3. Pry the crankshaft rear oil seal out of the rear oil seal housing using a suitable tool.
