Crankshaft Balancer Removal

Tools Required: 

J 41816-2  Crankshaft End Protector

  1. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt.

  2. Install J 41816-2  into the end of the crankshaft.
    IMPORTANT: Do not pull on outer edge of the crankshaft balancer.
  3. Use a three jaw puller to remove the crankshaft balancer.
  4. Remove J 41816-2.
