Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Installation

  1. Apply clean engine oil to the camshaft position actuator valve hole.
  2. Install the camshaft position actuator valve.
  3. Add sealant GM P/N United States 12346004, GM P/N Canada 10953480 to the camshaft position actuator valve bolt threads.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the camshaft position actuator valve bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the camshaft position actuator valve bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
