Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the brake pipe to the brake master cylinder.
Tighten

Tighten the brake pipe fitting 24 N.m (18 lb in).

Install the rear brake pipe.
Tighten

Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 24 N.m (18 lb in).

Install the right front brake pipe.
Tighten

Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 24 N.m (18 lb in).

Install the left front brake pipe.
Tighten

Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 24 N.m (18 lb in).
Install the EBCM to the vehicle. Refer to BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE (BPMV) REPLACEMENT .
Lower the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
Bleed the brake system. Refer to ABS AUTOMATED BLEED PROCEDURE .
