Lead/Pull Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy XL, 2003 GMC Envoy, and 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Lead/pull is the deviation of the vehicle from a straight path, on a level road, without hand pressure on the steering wheel.
Lead/pull is usually caused by the following factors:
- Tire construction
- Uneven brake adjustment
- Wheel alignment
The way in which a tire is built may produce lead/pull. The rear tires will not cause lead.
