Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (4.2L)   or POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (5.3L)   . 
  2. Secure the power steering pump in a vise, taking care not to damage the power steering reservoir.
  3. Using the J 25034-C,  remove the power steering pump pulley.
