Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air temperature actuator-left (1).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the air temperature actuator-left retaining screws.
  3. Tighten 
  4. Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  5. Connect the air temperature actuator-left electrical connector.
  6. Install the I/P carrier. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CARRIER REPLACEMENT  in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  7. Recalibrate the air temperature actuator on vehicles equipped with automatic climate control (C68). Refer to Re-Calibrating Actuators (Primary)   or  RE-CALIBRATING ACTUATORS (AUXILIARY HVAC)   .
