Installation Procedure

  1. Install the defroster actuator.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the defroster actuator screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the defroster actuator.
  4. Install the IP carrier. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CARRIER REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
