Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy XL, 2003 GMC Envoy, 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, and 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the right closeout/insulator panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the I/P storage compartment door. Refer to DOOR REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the blower motor mounting screws.
  5. Remove the blower motor cooling tube.
  6. Remove the blower motor (2).
