Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy XL, 2003 GMC Envoy, 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, and 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the new O-ring seal. Refer to O-RING REPLACEMENT .
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor to the compressor hose block.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor to 4.8 N.m (42 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.
  4. Leak test the fittings of the component using J39400-A.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
