Installation Procedure

  1. Install the inlet hose to the radiator.
  2. Using J 38185  reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to the radiator.
  3. Install the inlet hose to the engine.
  4. Using J 38185  reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to the engine.
  5. Install the air intake resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L.
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LL8)  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (LM4) .
