Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (4.2L)  or Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L)  in Automatic Transmission - 4L60E/4L65E.
  3. Remove the transmission mount spacer mounting bolts (2).
  4. Remove the transmission mount spacer (1).
