Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the transmission mount spacer (1).
  2. Install the transmission mount spacer mounting bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 65 N.m (48 lb ft).

  3. Install the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (4.2L)  or Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L)  in Automatic Transmission - 4L60E/4L65E.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
