Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission heat shield to the transmission.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the two bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the transmission.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
