Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Headliner Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Headliner Replacement (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.

  3. Remove the mid upper air distribution duct retaining fastener (7).
  4. Remove the mid upper air distribution duct (6) from the C-pillar.
  5. Remove the lower air distribution duct (5) from the C-pillar.
