Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the new O-ring seal. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor to the compressor hose block.

    Tighten:  Tighten the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor to 4.8 N.m (42 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.
  5. Leak test the fittings of the component using J 39400-A  . See Special Tools and Equipment .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
