Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new O-ring seal. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .
  2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the A/C low pressure switch (2) to the accumulator (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the A/C low pressure switch to 4.8 N.m (42 lb in).

  4. Connect the A/C low pressure switch electrical connector.
  5. Leak test the fittings of the components using the J 39400-A  . See Special Tools and Equipment .
