Crankshaft Balancer Removal: Removal

  1. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt.
  2. Fig 2: Installing J 41816-2 Onto End Of Crankshaft

  3. Install J 41816-2  into the end of the crankshaft. See Special Tools and Equipment .
  4. IMPORTANT: Do not pull on outer edge of the crankshaft balancer.
  5. Use a three jaw puller to remove the crankshaft balancer.
  6. Remove J 41816-2  . See Special Tools and Equipment .
