Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the fascia to the vehicle, ensuring that the body side attachment tabs are fully seated.
  2. Install the push-pins (3) that retain the fascia to the fascia support rods (2).

  3. Install the air deflector to the fascia. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front Bumper Fascia .
  4. Install the cornering lamps. Refer to Cornering Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  5. Install the fog lamps. Refer to Fog Lamp Replacement - Front (Rainier) , Fog Lamp Replacement - Front (Bravada) or Fog Lamp Replacement - Front (Envoy, Envoy XUV, TrailBlazer) in Lighting Systems.
  6. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Install the push-pin in the upper center of the fascia.
  9. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  10. Install the 2 bolts that retain the top of the fascia to the headlamp housing panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement (Envoy, Envoy XUV) , Grille Replacement (TrailBlazer) , Grille Replacement (Bravada) or Grille Replacement (Rainier) in Exterior Trim.
