Installation Procedure

  1. Install the tow hook to the impact bar, ensuring that the locating pin is properly indexed to the impact bar.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolt which retains the tow hook to the impact bar.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the impact bar. Refer to Impact Bar Replacement - Front Bumper in Bumpers.
  5. Install the fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Rainier) , Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Bravada) , Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Envoy, Envoy XUV) or Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (TrailBlazer) in Bumpers.
  6. Install the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement (Envoy, Envoy XUV) , Grille Replacement (TrailBlazer) , Grille Replacement (Bravada) or Grille Replacement (Rainier) in Exterior Trim.
