Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the frame brace mounting bolts.

  3. Remove the frame brace.

  5. Remove the fuel tank shield to the frame retaining bolts and nut.
  6. Remove the fuel tank shield from the frame.
