Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front applique. Refer to Applique Replacement - Roof Front  .
  2. Remove the tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Place masking tape along the lower edge of the applique in order to protect the painted surfaces and the glass.
  4. Using a long flat-bladed tool, starting at the rear opening, insert the tool between the applique and the fastener and twist the tool in order to release the snap-in fasteners on the rear pillar.

  6. Lift the rear of the applique upwards and outwards in order to release the remaining fasteners.
  7. Remove the applique.
  8. Inspect the applique and the fasteners for damage.
